Hello!  Thank you for taking the time to find out a little bit about us.  We want to express to you our utmost respect and compassion as you consider adoption.  We have been happily married for seven years and friends for fourteen.  We have always wanted children and are very excited about becoming parents through adoption.  We are best friends and soul mates, and we look forward to sharing our love with a child.  Both of our families are very excited about our family growing through adoption.  Donna’s family knows firsthand how rewarding and successful adoption can be.  Her cousin adopted a little boy about four years ago.  He is now seven and he truly is one of the family.  When we look at him we see a member of the family who is happy, healthy and loved by everyone.

Clay is a computer programmer and Donna is a cashier for a brokerage firm.  Donna can’t wait to be a stay-at-home mom.  Clay enjoys working in the yard and spending time on his computer.  Donna loves shopping, reading, decorating our home and making silk floral arrangements.  We both enjoy sports, either in person or on TV.  We look forward to taking our child to various sporting events and teaching him/her the value of teamwork and sportsmanship.  We also enjoy traveling, dining out, and going to church.  Whatever we do, we always have fun and enjoy each other’s company.

We live in a sleepy town in the suburbs east of Nashville in Wilson County .  Our subdivision is perfect for raising children.  It has sidewalks, streetlights and a community playground that has swings, a jungle gym with two slides and a sand pit; all of which are fenced in.  There is also a basketball court and an open grassy field for team sports or just running around.  There is a possibility that a community pool may be built in the future.  We even have an ice cream truck that comes around in the summer months.

We bought our home in October, 2001.  Our first priority was to find a child-friendly neighborhood in which to raise our family.  We chose Wilson County for the good school system.  Our house is on a quiet cul-de-sac so traffic is minimal.  Several of our neighbors have small children.  Our back yard is large enough for a swing set and there is room to run.  We share our home and our love with our two-year-old cat, Patches.

Best Wishes,

Clay and Donna
