Free Counseling
Our caring staff is available to offer support, discuss resources, and listen to your needs and concerns. Our counselors understand how difficult an unplanned pregnancy can be and seek to offer you affirmation and encouragement in your decisions. We offer pregnancy counseling, pre- and post-adoption counseling, and post-abortion counseling. No situation is impossible, and you will be amazed at how good it feels to have a friend and a plan for your future. Miriam's Promise gives you both.

Real Choices
Parenting or placing for adoption are two of the choices you are facing. We are committed to helping our clients explore the realities of either path and seeing them through their triumphs and challenges. We offer help accessing resources in your community for expectant/new parents and ongoing support—before, during, and after the birth of your child. We explore the real choice of making an adoption plan for your child through counseling and decision-making. There is a supportive environment for you, your partner, and your family during this difficult and often confusing time.

Open Adoption
Miriam's Promise is committed to full disclosure of information within the adoption process and beyond. We understand that not all our clients are familiar with the realities and responsibilities of an open adoption. It is not a co-parenting arrangement. It is the honest exchange of information between you and a potential adoptive family in order to establish a trusting and genuine connection for that child from placement through the rest of the child's life. Not all of our clients are a part of a fully open adoption; simply understand that you will be able to participate in determining what level of contact is desired.
