We have been waiting for a long time to start a family.  We have been married for 8 years and together for 11 years.  We have always dreamed of the day that we would start our own family.  Unfortunately, after 5 years of trying we have been told we probably will not be able to conceive.  Still, we have a very strong desire to start a family and this has brought us to you!  We hope the information that follows will help you learn a little more about us and our family.  We are extremely blessed and would love to share our blessings with a child.    We hope to eventually adopt at least two children.  We have always dreamed of at least two children.  We both enjoyed growing up with one brother

Just a few of our thoughts on Parenting…

We will raise our children in a Christian home.

We will provide a loving, safe and nurturing home.

We will provide a positive home environment.

We will be open with our child about how he/she became a part of our family.  We want him/her to understand what a selfless decision was made for him/her to be a part of our family and how thankful and blessed we are to have him/her.

Our House and Neighborhood

We live in a three bedroom, two bathroom home.  It has a great room, bonus room over the two car garage, and kitchen.  All rooms are on the ground floor except the bonus room.  Our home has about 1800 square feet.  We moved into this neighborhood 6 years ago.  Our neighborhood is filled with young families and lots of children that have fun playing outside.  The area we live in has grown since we moved in.  We love this area! Many exciting plans are being made to develop more in the community in the coming years.  Locally we have a walk-in clinic, at least 2 parks, three elementary schools, several grocery stores and several fast food restaurants.

      Leisure Time

We have a variety of hobbies we do together.  We enjoy traveling to the beach each summer and Gatlinburg in the fall.  We spend every Saturday night with friends, family or just a date night for the two of us.

We attend church on Sunday mornings/evenings and Wednesday nights.  We have attended a local Church of Christ since we married in 1998.  We both grew up in Christian homes and we will provide our children a Christian upbringing.  On Sundays we attend church then we go to Kim’s mom’s where we eat as a family with her and Kim’s brother’s family.  We also enjoy dinner at Todd’s mom’s some Monday nights for family time.  Todd’s family enjoys farming. Todd  spends lots of time with his brother  and dad gardening each spring/summer/fall.
