Hello! We are Brandon and Cally. Thank you for taking the time to read our letter and I hope you can get a sense of who we are and what kind of parents we could be.
Cally was born and raised in Oregon on a small piece of land with many animals. She has always had some sort of job based around animals whether that be working a pet store, being a receptionist/assistant at a vet’s office, or being a pet groomer. Just recently Cally made a change in careers and became a Real Estate Agent in Clarksville, TN. She is loving what she is doing and it allows her to be home at any time she would like and have the flexibility she would need to raise a child.
Brandon was born and lived in Phoenix, Arizona until his father got relocated to Oregon when he was in middle school. Brandon has had many different jobs throughout the years. He started working farms during high school and then moved onto a lumber mill before he joined the U.S Army, which is what landed us here in Tennessee. Brandon recently got out of the Army and is now working for a plant in Clarksville.
We got married in 2018 and have been in Tennessee since 2019. We currently own a home in Cumberland City, on 7 acres of land. We have a big yard with a creek all the way around it, a pasture, and a stocked fishing pond. We have three very happy energetic dogs and lots of chickens. Our hobby’s always have something to do with the outdoors. Whether that be fishing, working on our homestead, or hunting.
When we moved into our current home one of our first priorities were finding a good church to call home. We have been attending the Erin Church of Christ since mid 2021. Our support through the church has made us incredibly happy and we continue to grow closer to God every time we go. Not only do we have a solid Christian based marriage, we have a family that helps with anything we need. We also have Cally’s cousins and Brandon’s parents who live close that continue to support us with anything we need.
Roughly 3 years ago, we started trying for a child. After a lot of testing and practically every medication, Cally learned that she has a few conditions that are causing her infertility. We have prayed for a long time now trying to see what would be the best way to raise and love a child. It started becoming more and more apparent to us over the last year we really want to help and love a child that is already here or on its way into this world. We have a lot of love to give, a strong family support system, and church family to help us give a child a happy and healthy life.
