Fawn & Ben

Hi! We are Ben, Fawn, and Bryson. We first want to say thank you for considering an adoption plan and taking the time to look at our profile and getting to know us a little.

Ben was born in Camden, South Carolina, but was raised in Utah. Ben is full time active duty with the Tennessee National Guard. He enjoys working out, woodwork, and canoeing. Ben is the oldest of 4 siblings. All of his family lives in Utah except one of his sisters. She also lives in Tennessee. Even though his family lives hours away, we remain in contact with them and we go out there as much as we can.

Fawn was born in Syracuse, New York, but moved to Tennessee when she was 4. Currently Fawn is a stay at home mom. She worked for the state for 10 years, before circumstances arose and we decided it would be better for her to stay at home with Bryson. We have talked about her going back to work once Bryson starts Kindergarten, but we have not made a decision yet. Fawn enjoys reading, canoeing, and fishing. Fawn has one older sister which she is very close to.

Bryson just turned 5 at the end of 2022 and will be starting Kindergarten this up coming school year. He is currently going to pre-k part time and he absolutely loves it. We’ve never seen a child who loves school and learning more than him. He is the complete opposite then us when we were in school! We adopted Bryson though Miriam’s Promise. He is very active and caring. He loves to share his snacks and juice with his stuff animals. He is like a little fish and loves to swim. He is also obsessed with counting. He counts everything!

We always heard it takes a village to raise a child and that could not be more true! Thankfully we have a very good support system. Some of Fawn’s family lives close and are always willing to help, along with Ben’s sister, Sarah. Currently we live on a military base and everyone here is more than willing to help out in any way they can. All our neighbors have become almost like a 2nd family to us. At least once a month there is some sort of get together at the clubhouse across the street from our house.

We both had siblings growing up and know how much they impacted our lives. We would love for Bryson to have that opportunity too. We feel extremely grateful for all the love, support, and encouragement from our family and friends with our decision to adopt again. Although we know this is not an easy decision to be made and can only imagine what you are going through, we look forward to sharing this journey with you!
